Hello everybody,

I‘d like to introduce my conversion and detailing of Trumpeter‘s 1/24 Bf 109 G-2 to a F-4/Trop.

The plane shown (W.Nr. 10154) was flown by Hans-Arnold Stahlschmidt of I./JG27 2. Squadron as “Red 1 +” in the period of June until September 1942.

A lot of details were added most of them scratch built using information from contemporary handbook and spare parts list

I am not sure how to add pics from that site (I tried three ways), but there is a way to do it. All I see are the links.

Does look good, though!

EDIT: Figured it out! I copied the actual pic file address (ends in .jpg), and added it thru the "Other Media" option.

Thank you LSP_Ray for your information about the pics. I tried several times to use the „insert image from URL“ button. Finally I did it this way. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Very cool, I have this same project planned as Marseilles plane. Question. Whats the source of the figure?

Hi eoyguy

it is a 3D-Scan of Doug‘s Originals Figure 32P02. Scan, re-sized and 3d-printed
It’s title is „Hans-Joachim Marseilles“ but after several closer looks and comparisons I seems to be more the face of Hans-Arnold Stahlschmidt than of Hans-Joachim Marseilles.

Nils
