  1. Pictures from ScaleModelChallenge 2023, Veldhoven last weekend. Awesome event.
  2. Hi Ironman1945 I additionally recommend to have a look on this site so you can even determine a specific production lot for your model. http://www.alanhamby.com/tiger.html For example the external travel look was just installed between Nov. 1943 till February 1944. Production changes are nicely listed here: http://www.alanhamby.com/changes.shtml Cheers, Nils
  3. I‘ve seen this video also mentioning the brown being more like a green in the bottle but when sprayed turning into brown. Strange. https://youtu.be/qllSBxSAChI
  4. Wow Juggernut this is it!! Looking ready for some radio action. Also the quality of pics is better. My suggestion is to use mode A on your Nikon. You then can manually choose the opening size of the aperture and the camera will adapt exposure time automatically. Large aperture no. means small opening size which is necessary to achieve a good depth of field. If possible try to get some more lighting to the objects you want to photograph- but don’t use the cameras flash - a cold white light bulb (light temperature is more than 6.000 Kelvin) comes close to daylight and will do. Looking forward to your next steps. best regards Nils
  5. Wow, they both look really cool and with what a speed you build them. Must have been fun?!

Looking forward to your build. Regards, Nils
  7. Hi Rog, take a look here: https://www.dersockelshop.de/wolfpack-wd32004?number=WD32004 Even for reduced price at the moment. Regards, Nils
  8. Hi Juggernut I’d also suggest to use a tripod, as manual adjustment of aperture setting to more f11 will result in accordingly long exposure time (possibly 1-3 sec.). So delayed shot as recommended by José and good lighting are mandatory to get some nice pics. best regards Nils
  9. Hi Juggernut, for headphone set check SOL MODELS MM341. The set provides 5 head phones and throat mics. Alternatively Aber 16011 provides German tank crew equipment including parts to create / detail two headphones and throat mics. Regards Nils
  10. Thank you Ryan Yeah no doubt about that risk Nils
  11. Thanks for your words Matty You know - ladies and their footwear… and I fully agree to you concerning Jennifer Beals portrayal - awesome… Nils
  12. Thanks for your comment, Michael Regards Nils
  13. Hi Mark, Thank you. Well, I hope good memories.
  14. Hi Matt, Thank you. Yes it was - but the real challenge was to just trying/starting it - so I'm glad to have found that interesting character that made me painting my first figure with tattoos. I randomly found that character in the web when looking for skin color tones of Twi'lek woman. It occurs in Star Wars Legacy - a comic series published between 2006-2010.
  15. Thank you very much for your words Tom. I'm happy to have some magnifiers - otherwise that would impossible for me to get the paint to the right spot...
  16. Thanks for your feedback, Chrish Till now I didn't dare to touch busts or figures in larger scales - still need more practise - and finally again - more space Is it the figure from E2046 your working on, Chrish?
  17. Thank you, TankBuster They were a new challenge for me as I never painted tattoos before. I used black oil paint to have more time for corrections - a good choice if I think about the number of corrections, hahaha.
  18. Hi fellow modellers Due to lack of time and space for next LSP-modelling project I was looking for some alternative project just to not get out of practise. I stumbled over a figure from Chronos Miniatures named „Master of Swords“ that surprisingly offered two heads. I chose to go with the Twi‘lek style head. After some research I decided to take a challenge with painting tattoos. Although far from LSP-modelling I hope you like the result. Thanks for watching Cheers Nils
  19. Fantastic job you have done, José. Looking forward for the next steps. Cheers, Nils
