Tnarg Posted January 1, 2021 Share Posted January 1, 2021 This is sort of like the question of Betty versus Veronica... Veronica knows Archie likes her, Betty knows she likes Archie. No contest, no question. That choice is echoed in the character of Mary Ann: honest, practical, unselfish and faithful to her friends. It appears that Dawn Wells at least tried to live up to the qualities of her TV character and she will be missed. She gave us a lot of fun in my early years and my grandson still likes the reruns. As the innocent aliens said in Galaxy Quest... "Those poor people". We were all hoping for their rescue, yet glad to see them escape the insanity of our modern world on the island.
