Nice job on your build, excellent paint job. I have a question regarding the landing gear. It looks like you added small cylindrical brass to secure the break lines. Am I correct? If not what did you use? It looks very realistic.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

that´s some Albion Alloys tubing, IIRC 0.4 mm DIA. They offer slide-fit tubing sets and profiles etc.pp. Great stuff!

I also recommend to get some reamers for cleaning the ends of the tubing after cutting them to length. Do a search as the shown reamer example seems to be too expensive. I bought such a set for approx. 20 EUR.

HTH, Bernd.

Wow Bernd she's really starting to look great now !  I loved your blue pre shadow for the rlm 76,  very lovely art work.

I've never seen a pic of the right side of Red 12, is there any chance you could post that picture ?

I'm also working on this kit at the moment and I plan on doing red 12 aswell

All the best, cheers,

Peter

Hi,

scroll down here:

I´d like to see your interpretation of red 12 :-) Please open a thread on it!

Hi Bernd, thanks for the link , the camo is quite a bit different on the starboard side isn't it ! Considering the shot appears to be taken in lower light conditions inside a hanger  it definately makes things a little bit more difficult for an accurate interpretation. Very interesting none the less. I also wasn't aware of the close up pic of the radar array on the nose so thanks again for the link.

P.s I'll put some picks up of my build when I  have some progress to show......

Cheers,

Peter
