BradG
To answer some questions; GB will start 1st of December, after The Shelf of Doom is finished. I revise my decision on early Isreali aircraft, blue and tan upper is in. Please note Dave we were still nutting out the subject, seeing what people come up with and suggest. It's the first time we've done something like this so there's bound to be some discussion. Dragon - both the F-18 and Sukhoi (is it?) are in. Yes RLM 76 Bf 109s are in Martin. Yes the Thunderbirds aircraft with the blue thunderbird on the under surface is in. Dragon

BradG
Yeh that looks pretty good, although I'm not sure Greek Phantoms were that dark.
Menelaos
Yeh that looks pretty good, although I'm not sure Greek Phantoms were that dark. the Aegean blue tone when it was fresh, it was indeed that dark one... but weather sun and salt, gave it a very srtiking look.... ssculptor
The Vulgarian Air Force has a number of camo schemes that feature the color blue. I'll try to find time to make one of them for the build. I cannot promise anything though as we just moved back into my rebuilt home (fire in 2015) and are trying to get unpacked and settled in. Also spending much time in Chicago settling my sister's estate (I am the trustee). But this time I will attempt to beat the deadline. jenshb
Hi all I've just returned to the site after a longish break (still been building, but not much in big scales) and thought I'd join in with this GB as a form of re-introduction. I have this (purchased at the Nats at a very nice price) :- and spotted this after a brief Google :- Now, if I can only find out which blue that is (which has been frustrating me over the weekend!) I will be ready to start Cheers all Kev I believe that colour is Oxford Blue. Xtracolor X023 or Humbrol HU104. Jens

Rick Griewski
Inspiration yes. I am in for this build. So now I just used this as an opportunity to have some fun looking through my decal stash and let the stash drive the short list: Blue nose birds of Bodney - the new Revell Mustang New Corsair decals from Fundekals - new Tamiya Corsair MiG 21-MF Polish Air Force aircraft '6014' with Blue Swordfish - Trumpeter kit (stacking up as my first choice) Civilian helicopter from the 2016 Christmas raffle ( first helo build for me) A few kits... Blue Squadron makings on one of the silver wing tween the wars biplanes US Navy yellow wing bird with blue cowl and tail plane. WNW something, the DVII shown earlier is tempting. Rick Mostly Racers, I do not have the Lukgraph Blue Goose Boeing F3-B but I did find the Esdale Supermarine S5 Schnieder Racer. Now there was a beautiful blue airplane. I bet that this will beat out the MiG-21MF. So.... When does the build start? I will get busy with the prerequisite photos (and choosing a new site for my photos). BradG
Would the. Goodyear blimp well. Be large scale I didn't know there is a kit of it. If the kit is 1/35 or larger then sure, you can do that.
