JRutman
Haven't posted in a while but found these old old pics. Combat Models vac kit I struggles through back in the day. About 1998 I wager . Interested in more pics?? I am out of touch and don't know what anyone wants to see these days. Wolf Buddee
Well Jerry, you may feel out of touch with what people may want to see but I'd love to see more of your PT-19. I remember back in the early 60s my brother had one of these in a Cox gas powered control line flyer. Seeing your pic brought back some real memories. Please post more pics if you have them. Cheers, Wolf Edited September 20, 2014 by Wolf Buddee Girlscanplay2

JRutman
Thanks guys, for looking in. I see this thread has zero views though. How is that possible? As requested, more pics. Starting with a original fuselage from the NASM Everything but the wings and fuselage was scratchbuilt. I believe this was my very first vac. I don't know if any of the PT19s were in this livery but I always liked those colors so.... J Girlscanplay2, MikeC and Out2gtcha

LSP_Kevin
I see this thread has zero views though. How is that possible? That's because I moved it from the WiP forum to here in the RFI forum; it sounds like you're still looking at the original link in the WiP forum, which points to here. That link will show zero views, as it's a dummy shortcut to this one. If you have a look at the real thread here in RFI, you'll see the real story (currently showing 324 views). LDSmodeller
Jerry That PT-19 is Awesome! This aircraft holds a special place in my heart, as I had a flying model of one, in my younger years (original fly by wire string ) had a .49 Cox Glow plug engine. The actual airframe is long gone (scrapped in Air Force lingo) after it had a rather bad nose dive (Air to Ground Interface ). Still have the engine after all these years. Thanks for sharing your build photos, and the great memories that came flooding back looking at it Regards Alan Edited September 21, 2014 by LDSmodeller

MikeC
Very nice. I've heard about, and even seen, Combat Models vacs, so great respect for a great job. A thought - wouldn't it be interesting to see this next to a similar model of a Magister (and I'm not sure even a vac kit of one of those exists)?
