New rims and tires for some of my 1/12 kits.
Countach and GT40, compared to the kit versions.
MP4/6, 1 set with slicks and 1 with rain tires.

The postie just dropped off my most anticipated kit this morning and I am a happy man
As well as this
I now have 4 new ships to go with my other 4 more traditional subjects (New Jersey, Enterprise CVN-65, Yamato and Z39) awaiting their turn on the bench
I have to stop buying these kits!

More than I can currently say about mine! My G-6 is halfway there, and my 110G-4 is still sitting in the box staring at me.

Actually very close to a He-111/Fi-103 (V-1) combination!

I stumbled onto this website yesterday and saw how nice all of his stuff was. It is mostly all car/racing stuff, but I'm sure they be used on aircraft. I hope this wasn't already posted recently. If so, sorry.
Take Care,
Jim

Thanks everyone for your kind words!
I made a start last weekend and have removed all the details in preparation for the Red Fox 3D decals. Half way through I thought there must be an easier way than using a sanding stick, then it dawned on my that I have a mini rotary tool which made life a lot easier.
After removing all of the detail in the avionics bay I decided to do build this buttoned up, there is some fantastic details that will be lost but I want this bird to look sleek. I have the G version in my stash which I plan to have everything opened up and will be in Italian or German markings, this will make a nice contrast to the NMF on this build.
The seat is a bit basic but with the lightening holes drilled out and a few of the seams filled it is ready for paint and the Quinta detail set. One issue with the seat is that the seat back is slightly wider than the bottom part, fortunately it comes with two and the second was a slightly better fit.
The Red Fox set is very nice! I used the Quinta set in my Kinetic 1/48 build and IMHO the Red Fox are easier to apply, just peel off and stick on, the only caveat being the kit part has to be nice and flat.
The IP looks fantastic, nicely done Red Fox!
Finally, it comes together. I'm quite pleased how it turned out.
The next part is building the engine and having a blast at using a ResKit resin exhaust for the first time.
Thanks for looking!
Jeremy

I will say the prop is not the main aesthetic problem for the MB-200!
The nice thing is you can scratch build this aircraft with just some sheets of thin styrene!

Price when it came out? I swear I remember paying just over $225, but maybe I’m in denial.

I agree 100%. If a person does not enjoy one's life then what's the point of living? Of course sometimes reality trips us up, slows us down, makes us change course but that's a part of living.

A placeholder. I have to finish shower plumbing repairs. This gives me some incentive.

Rick Griewski reacted to Maximus in Zoukei Mura Fw-190 A-4
Hello and heads up. I am building this FW 190 A-4 (Super Wing Series, No 21). Be careful on step 3-5 E page 48. The instructions on the MG FF Access Doors are backwards. You will recognize this when you dry fit the doors. You are not going crazy. Just switch the doors between the two wings. Something else that caught me was on page 32, section 3-4 "flips" the wing between the two subsections. The wing is down in the first picture but it is up in the second. I spent five minutes trying to figure out how to place the Aileron Control Link (part B-15). When I realized the problem was that I was looking at the wing upside down, well that was embarrassing.
On the plus side the BMW 801 D-2 came together perfectly. Be careful when you get to the oil filter on page 15. There is a real reason why Zoukeimura does a cut out box on this part on page 15. Honestly, this engine rivals the Tamiya Corsair which is the best kit I have ever had the pleasure to work on.
Looking at the the guns on this plane. You come to realize why the bomber aircrews called them the butcher birds.
