I am thinking Handley Page Hampden. Whenever I see a photo of one flying with the pilot's canopy pulled open, it just makes me smile.

Or Italeri should price accordingly...?
I think the kit looks great and would love to have one. I just think it is overpriced for what it is. Just my own personal opinion.

I love the Macchi Mc 202 and would love to buy a newly produced kit. But for $140, I find the look of the parts on the sprues less than satisfactory for a kit of that price. I can get a Tamiya or Zoukei-Mura kit for this price, and the Italeri kit just doesn't seem to approach their mold quality. I suppose all of the photo-etch and decals are supposed to impress the price up, but if the basic sprues are not up to tops, the price should reflect this.
Let me first say that I do not have the kit in my own hands, but the photos are good enough for me for now. I know that there will be plenty of readers who will answer:
1. "...then don't buy it." Duh, that response is really helpful for a conversation, innit?
2. "...price is in the eye of the beholder." Yes it is. I am but one beholder, and I would like to know what you think about the price versus the kit itself. Let's hear from all the beholders.
Lately I am just seeing what seems to be price inflation in a lot of new kits that seems less than justified. What do you think?

Price tag is the biggest inhibitor for me when it comes to HpH. I shudder to think what the price tag will be for these kits.

ANY new WWII Russian aircraft please. LaGG-3, La-5, La-5FN, Yak-1, Yak-7, Pe-2 would be greatly appreciated.
It seems weird that some 1930 vintage Russian fighters are available, but the main WWII vintage are missing major aircraft.

@VIPER0177 When did you buy the kits? I am wondering if timing has something to do with it.

This is the second of these kits that I have. The first one I purchased three or four years ago does not have these extras. Very strange.

spreckair got a reaction from BiggTim in HK Models B-17 E/F...and G?
I just received the HK Models B-17E/F kit and was examining the sprues. In addition to all of the E/F sprues, my box included sprues to make a G model (G model nose, including glazing, and Cheyenne tail). I have seen on other posts that the E/F kit does not have these sprues. Has anyone else noticed the inclusion of these sprues?

spreckair got a reaction from Rick Griewski in HK Models B-17 E/F...and G?
@Juggernut Thank you for the info, and for helping me decide not to build a G from these kits. After reading Martin Caidin's "Ragged Rugged Warriors", I am chompin' to build an early Pacific Theater E. The second will be an ETO F. And maybe someday I will see the G on sale, who knows...
@VIPER0177 You haven't lost your mind. You are just as addicted to 1/32 as the rest of us sorry souls. There are worse addictions.

@thierry laurent Yes and yes. Same experience as @bevelduc above. My first E/F kit purchased three years ago does not have the extra parts, but my recent purchase from the Sprue Brothers sale has them. Since I am not familiar with all of the G sprues, I cannot tell if all of the nose interior parts for the G are there, but the nose, nose glazing, chin turret, second top turret, and Cheyenne tail turret are included.
@Dennis7423 The E parts are all included.
I purchased the second kit because I was torn on whether to build the E or F. Now I am torn on whether to build a G. Definitely a first world problem.

spreckair got a reaction from KiwiZac in Hph Me 323 is out and the bill is huge...
I much prefer 1/32, and get a little irritated when 1/35 scale aircraft are released, but this is one that I think would have been much better in 1/35 scale, since it exists to support ground troops and vehicles. But even then, it would not be in my workshop, so just ignore what I just said.
