Excellent progress Max. It is I think a good looking airplane. I was fortunate to see three last July at the Military Airshow at Old Warden

[ICM Model T Ambulance]

Thank you Jimbo. I loved this kit, it was something out of my comfort zone as I usually build German WW2 armour. I'm now looking at getting the early version as a companion piece to this one.

After a few suggestions I've added a bandage around the head of the casualty.

And finished. I've really enjoyed this, as its something I don't usually build. I've entitled it "After the Battle. Somewhere in France, 1918" While researching this build I discovered that both Ernest Hemingway and Walt Disney were both Ambulance driver's during WW1.

The progress so far. And started the base, and as I'm modelling on a budget I've used an old CD case. It's looking very muddy.

Thank you! I'm out of my comfort zone with this, as I usually build German WW2 vehicles. But a change is a good way of keeping the Mojo going!

Thank you. It was a nice kit until I got to it lol 

 

And it's decalling time. I must say I'm pleased with how the decals behaved. No issues at all, they bedded down well after applications of Micro set and Micro Sol once the decals were on. The Ambulance has now had a Matt Coat, and is looking sweet. I'm really enjoying this build.

I'm building this for a WW1 Group Build elsewhere. 

 

The Model T Ambulance was first employed by the British, who used 19,000 of them, before the US entered the War in 1917. What made the Model T what it was was it ruggedness, reliability and ease of maintenance. By November of 1918, 4, 362 had been deployed overseas.

During WW1 Ernest Hemingway and Walt Disney were volunteer Ambulance driver's.
