ericg Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Here is my latest model, depicted as it would have looked 97 years ago in World War One. Approx. 5 weeks construction time spaced over 2.5 years. Additions: Gas Patch turnbuckles/brass tube ends.EZ Line riggingMasking tape to depict the intake manifold heat protection.Aviatic Lozenge decal.Uschi Woodgrain decal. I wanted to capture the contrasting wood, wire, leather and fabric components of the model hence the harsh lighting taken in direct sunlight. I hope it looks real enough this way.
