small update

weight inserted instead of front engine

i-t5vTQQ7.jpg

front parts of both canopies masked from both sides and painted

fit of the attached masks is perfect, however you need to prepare your own masks for inner side

both parts fit perfectly

front part of engine with flaps and cowling finished, not happy with open flaps, some PE or resin AM instead of single piece plastic could be better

Thanks guys for the feedback  :)

really apreciate it

small update, metal underside painted

I have used Tamiya white whine surf as a base layer, which I have smuuthly sanded and polished

Followed with gloss Mr.Color black layer

Metal panels painted with differenet shades of Alclad

Started with white aluminium as a base, then applied other shades: aluminium, dural aluminium, polished aluminium, dark aluminium and steel as last one

Was trying to catch visible variation between panels, as seen on the original pictures

I'm quite happy with the result  :coolio:

I have used AMMO chiping fluid for the first time with Mr.Paint colours and its working  :)

Chipping looks still quite prominent but it willbe toned down with thinned smoke color
