Masking extravaganza :), I really like the tonal differences within the NMF paneling close to the demarcation lines, pretty cool stuff Jan. Can't wait for the final result.

One Q: why did you not include the front engine in the build? Just curious!

 

Simple answer Alan :) just to save some time. Instead of the front engine I have glued the weight.

decals applied, printed by Cartograf so no issues at all

dark wash applied overall. Finished with semigloss coat on undersides and front engine cowling. Semimatt coat over camo

Beautiful Jan! 

 

You have to photograph it beside another plane like a 109 or something to show the size difference. The Do-335 was a very large aircraft and your pics don't give you a sense of how big this aircraft really was.
