Joel_W
Carl, And yeah, the Quadruplets look darn good for sure. That's some production line you've got there for those individual exhaust headers. Joel mpk and Shaka HI
BloorwestSiR
I then made the pressurization intake from a half round sprue and attached it to the cowl panel. I hollowed out the end slightly. I then painted them as well as the canopy and spinner in grey. The lower cowl was painted in PRU blue. I did the gear legs at the same time but forgot to take any pics. Here's where she is now. I didn't have any suitable masks for the roundels so I've ordered some from Maketar so hopefully they'll be here soon. I also noticed I didn't have any wheels so those were duly ordered from Barracudacast. Their sale came at the right moment Edited June 6, 2017 by BloorwestSiR Kagemusha, mpk, Kendzior and 3 others

I find it easier to paint them all at once rather than break out the airbrush a bunch of times fitting the same colour. I still ended up short somehow and had to do a second batch... MustangManiac
Looking really good Carl! May I ask what PRU Blue paint did you use, it looks darker than the Modelmaster PRU Blue I have on hand but almost perfect for the German captured Spitfire PR XI I'm wanting to do eventually. Thanks, Brady BloorwestSiR and Gazzas
BloorwestSiR
Thanks gents! The paint masks for the roundels have been shipped by Maketar so hopefully I'll be back at them soon. Looking really good Carl! Thanks, Brady Brady, I used Xtracrylic PRU Blue on the VII. I picked it from Hannants. Hour that helps. Carl Totalize
