JeffH
Kent, that is simply outstanding work. When I saw the first picture I thought you were going to say it was your 'inspiration' for the build it looked so real.
ssculptor
Superb. Also, without the wings attached it fits better into the glass case. Think about it, those of you who want to build multi-engine bombers can use the detachable wings method to solve your problem of needing more room or larger glass cases. kkarlsen
kkarlsen
Absolutely stunning build!! Masterclass and the best PBY I've seen on the internet. HpH should use your kit as a marketing example of what can be achieved with their kits. Great to see one built, even better to such a standard. Love the Catalina, maybe one day... Thank you for your kind words, gentlemen. I haven't seen any Cats build from this kit, other than the one from the HPH modeller + the cutaway kit? It was released five years ago, in 2013? Anyone have an idea on how many unbuild kits are out there? Cheers: Kent Phartycr0c

Phartycr0c
In answer to your question Kent, I have the kit in my stash and hopefully intend to get going on it this coming winter. There are a few other items vying for attention at the moment. kkarlsen
