WW-2 Luftwaffe Dornier 27 : FINISHED !

Erwin

Recommended Posts

What if the Dornier 27 was used in 1942 by the Luftwaffe.

Based on the ancient Revell kit.

The kit is bad.No inner detail.Just a floor, four seats and an IP. Nothing worth showing.

But it does look like the Do-27.

Let's get started and see where this goes...

Dim down the windows and you are good to go. :D

That is my idea too.

Tinted windows.

First progress.

Build the wing and joined it to the fuselage.

Note that I  merged the right door and top window into the fuselage.

Much putty and a lot of sanding will be done to get it smooth.

I decided to go for Rommel's long-range command plane.

Much space inside for radio's ,map table and even a bed !

Will also add two drop tanks.

Don't want to run out of fuell over the desert.

I actually did a three-tone D-27 in ambulance markings many years ago.

I don't have it anymore.

No pictures too.

I might go for sand-brown and green splinter.:hmmm:

But it's "what-if".

So I can do whatifer I like.:D

Awesome build, finished with heaps of time left, you can even do another one now … :clap2:

Thank you.

My next one will be based on the Japanese Tony.

A more plausable Luftwaffe plane called the " Schmetterling" .
