  1. I too have purchased these works of art. Wonderful service and product. Worth the price. I try to support all the artisans, manufacturers and hobby shops from the Ukraine. Under war conditions they are performing miracles. Glory to Ukraine........and its modeling community. Jager Living on Tulsa Time
  2. Our club is holding its annual contest and show. We traditionally draw from Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Colorado. We have 50+ vendor tables and over 60 display tables. More information at this link. www.tulsaipms.org Hope to see you there. Jager Living On Tulsa Time
  3. As a follow up, I reached out to HGW to just let them know about the issues I had with the walkway transfers with the intent of just giving them some product feedback. I received an e-mail from Martin at HGW. He was sorry about the issue and is sending me replacements. That is very good customer service. We should all support vendors like HGW that are concerned about the quality of their product and our satisfaction with them. Jager
  4. I procured some more walkway stencils and they worked correctly and look great. Must have gotten some bad ones. Issue resolved. Jager
  5. Thanks PT, Glad to hear they are backing their products. I sent an e-mail to let them know about my issue. Appreciate you taking time away from your build table to comment on my issue. I really like HGW products, especially when they work correctly. I might add that this was the first time i have ever had an issue with their products. Jager
  6. Thanks for your feedback. Jager
  7. I have recent purchased 3 packs of these walkways (#232041). I followed the instructions for both depackaging and application. My first pack of red-dash lines worked perfectly. My next 2 packs not so well. The second packs protective paper retained the clear carrier. Extra care was taken to remove it from the protective paper but it was one with the carrier. My third pack depackaged perfectly with the clear carrier staying with the transfers. After cutting the required transfers from the sheet and soaking them for 15 seconds then removing them from the water to soak in their own puddle, all of the dashes started to float off the carrier just before the removal of the paper backing.thus rendering them useless. I was impressed with the first package that worked perfectly. Was this a common product problem? I have double checked my process. Has anyone else experienced an issue like this? Jager
  8. How about a forward air controller, complete with underwing ordinance? Jager
  9. Wonderful build of a kit I too have never seen built! Thanks for showing it to us. May I ask a question, did you paint or decal the red walkway lines? Thanks again, Jager
  10. No the A1 Rudder is not the same as the A4 Rudder. Which kit do you have, the A1 or A4? If it is the A1, I have a rudder. I am working on the conversion of the A1 to A4. Contact me at my e-mail and let's get you a rudder. Jager Living on Tulsa Time
  11. You will like them. They work well. Jager
  12. Their books are the gold-standard. Recently got the Ju88 vol.1 and patiently waiting for vol.2 on the gun-nosed aircraft. I just imagine how good the He177 will be. Jager

  14. I agree that the combination of internet and books are a modeler's wish come true. Before building a kit I go to the internet for information that leads me to the books, which are the primary resource I use during my build. Take for instance the new release(s) by Valiant Airframe and Miniature #23 on the Ju88.........definative resource on the subject. None of the info contained in the books is easily compiled in one place on the internet. Jager Living On Tulsa Time
  15. Hey, Hey, Hey Mr/Ms. Model Companies, may I propose you look at giving us accurate, well engineered, not over engineered kits with unnecessary high part counts, in a scale that the market really wants, not trying to create a new scale-world, with subjects that have not been over done. One subject that Revell 'fizzed' on was the Ju88. They never really carried through on all the potential variants, including 188s. Instead they issued theJu88 A4 Teknik kit with freeking motors and lights and a large price tag. There are many subjects that have not been fully pursued or pursued at all. Then there is the issue of higher costing kits with no real engineering advancements in design or moulding. We keep hearing about these technologies but no results in the kit boxes. The kit designers sometimes seem like they aren't kit builders. If they would attempt to build the kits they design and manufacture they would improve their designs after seeing the short-comings. A philosophy of accuracy in their kits instead of a high number for parts would be appreciated. There is nothing wrong with accurate, high detail kits as long as good engineering is incorporated. I understand that some of us have different expectations from kits. Regardless, give us kits that can be built without spending twice the kit cost in after-market correction pieces that take a lot of fiddling-about to get to fit. And kits that require long build times because of short comings that have to be addressed to produce an acceptable model. Look at your competition for spare/hobby time. Folks want to maximize that precious time. Finally consider the average age of kit builders. At my age of 71, I look at my kit stash and know how many models I can build in a year. I have to be selective to be able to potentially build all the subjects that interest me. Thanks for taking you time to read my post/rant. Happy New Year Jager
  16. Does anyone use rectified turpentine with their oils? If so, are you also using Liquin? Jager
  17. On the Smithsonian Channel there is a program entitled "Air Disasters". They recently played a chapter on the loss of the Concord and the investigation into the cause. I found it worth watching if you have an interest into Concord. Jager Living on Tulsa Time
  18. Mine is on order and looking forward to Part 2 when versions C and on are gone into. The publisher indicated it is due in Jan24. In my opinion the later versions, that have no hexagonal nose, are the most interesting. Jager
  19. I always go with the Bros. Hands down a consistant customer service oriented business, from inventory availability, to pricing, and shipping. Jager

  22. Beautiful build Tolga. Nice going. Did the PCM kit go together well for you? Is there anything that we who have this kit in our stash, should be aware of during the build? Jager
  23. It was co-produced with BMW. The power plant is a BMW. Basically it is a Z4 except a hardtop. The Z4 is only a convertible. It is built by Steyr in Austria along with the Z4. The manual gearbox will serve as a theft deterrent against young thieves. Nice choice and looks awesome. Drive-on Bro' Jager
