Sierra Hotel is very much still around.

Not sure what's up with the site but Mike is constantly working on new product. Maybe he just needs a new webmaster.

I run into him vending at shows here in the SoCal area regularly and usually just pick up items I need that way. He always has a "stash" of the newest stuff with him. Just ask!

I'll fess up here for a partial update on the casting side of items.

Mike has asked that I make a run on intakes to get him caught up

with production, but he has been at it daily on 3D printing as well

as working up a better website. He has been converting smaller items,

for instance, splitters, engine fronts for both Revell and Tamiya F-4's

to 3D, so all I work is the intakes. A good amount of time taken is from

obtaining actual measurements, then converting to CAD. Finally, any

adjustments to fit the kit. Gets really interesting at that point on discovering

which manufacturer gets it close, or gets it right. Bottom line, he is still at it.

This is great news!  So many cottage industry shops closed up or have gone silent due to the covid mess, it’s good to hear a survivor story.
