hurribomber
Unfortunately, the notches for the stringers are not always exactly right and I have to correct some of them with a needle file so that the stringers are in line. hurribomber
I use 1x1 mm brass profile for the stringers. Hair clamps are used to fix them when gluing. I must also point out that the "original drawings" for the formers are not exactly dimensioned and the positions of the notches and cut-outs for the fuselage tubes are not always exact. That's why I had to make some adjustments so that the stringers run straight or curve nicely in smooth lines. ..until next time Thomas Shoggz, Archimedes, Landrotten Highlander and 14 others

hurribomber
Here is a drawing of a typical former with the scale indicating the size. With this vague information, inaccuracies are unfortunately inevitable. CODY and LSP_Kevin
hurribomber
With minor corrections, I managed to do it anyway. denders, Archimedes, geedubelyer and 6 others

hurribomber
For the wider stringers on both sides, I fixed 0.5mm wire at the top and bottom. Madmax, Starfighter, denders and 7 others

hurribomber
Finally, I painted the whole thing with light brown Arcyl paint to imitate wood. Despite the filigree structure, the skeleton is surprisingly stable. Of course - it is a HURRICANE ! Until next time! Archimedes
Wow! Every step of this is fantastic! It is great to know that the structure performs in miniature just as the full sized one does. Kind regards, Paul
