Bruce_Crosby Posted January 21, 2022 Share Posted January 21, 2022 Hi Guys, This one was finished a while ago but I don't think I ever posted the final pictures. It's a "what if?" Mistel built with Revell's Me262 as the flying bomb and their He162 as the pilot plane. I twisted Wunwinglow's arm and he 3d printed the launch dolly and the booster rockets and I slapped it all together and threw some paint in the general direction. It was a heck of a lot of guesswork, scratch building and general angst but it is done. Home made masks for the markings and the 262 nose is painted as it it came from a different airframe. Probably the hardest part of the build was making the parachute, then the cables and all the rigging. Making the mountings for the rocket booster was pretty much up hill as well!
