Archimedes Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 I see HK Models have released a new boxing of their B-17F. I always thought the F model was the best looking of the Forts so whilst decals are included for ‘Memphis Belle’, should I crumble and buy, I’ll take the road less travelled and do ‘Wabash Cannonball’ Cheers, Paul Kagemusha, Phantom2, Out2gtcha and 15 others 18
MikeC Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Good choice of subject. http://www.americanairmuseum.com/aircraft/3895 B-17 1

dodgem37 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Good news, for a change. Sincerely, Mark B-17 1
B-17 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Great news, but a little disappointed that they recycled the decal options. Bring on the nose section kits!
Dennis7423 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 It doesn't appear this kit has E model pieces... looks to be strictly a B-17F release. - Dennis S. Thornton, CO USA
Phartycr0c Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Agreed lovely box art and a great subject Archimedes 1
Avenger2614 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Perhaps meaning we'll see a dedicated B-17E boxing? Maybe even some Fortress Mk.III decals in that release?

RNoAF Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Good news. Ive been looking for an F for a while.
ScottsGT Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Glad to see them still coming out. Interesting with the Wabash Cannonball name. My Uncle flew P-61's in WWII and his ride was "Wabash Cannon-ball IV" I'm assuming it was due to the line in the song about the girl from Birmingham since my Aunt was from Birmingham AL. dodgem37 and MikeC 2
