RLWP
All nonsense, of course. Made more convincing by the fabulous Airscale dials and bezels Richard BradG, Gazzas, Landrotten Highlander and 5 others
Uncarina
I just caught up with this Richard. You have serious skills! Building a complete aircraft from scratch is in my mind the very pinnacle of the art, and yours is truly impressive! Cheers, Tom RLWP
RLWP
Not a great picture... The cowling is in place, gaps are filled, mysterious humps and hollows are being dealt with. To me honest, I suspect the 'engine turning' effect will hide most of the weird shapes Richard BradG, MikeMaben, dodgem37 and 3 others

RLWP
Well, not every experiment works... Otherwise, the cockades are on, just need a little tidying up Richard Gazzas, BradG, dodgem37 and 4 others
RLWP
OK, she's starting to go together now: Including a 'lap belt' that, who knows - might even be something like what was used in the actual plane. Panzerwomble
Shaping up very nicely - will this cockpit include an English / German phrasebook so the pilot can launch a string of foul language at les Boches whilst waiting for the Senior Service to work out how to put a machine gun on an aeroplane ? Certainly not! He already knows how to speak slowly and loudly Actually, in this case I know who one of the pilots was. RLWP
Rigging is going in now: There isn't a lot of rigging on a single bay wing warping biplane, just the flying wires to add Richard themongoose, LSP_Kevin, BradG and 5 others
RLWP
And the chassis is attached: Chassis isn't the word I would have associated with this area, except I found a contemporary article calling it just that I must find something to go in that big space under the cowling... RLWP
These are the excellent Gaspatch Palmer Cord wheels: Now for something a bit ambitious. I've owned a watchmakers lathe for some time, and I'm reasonably competent with it, so inspired by @kensar's work on his AVRO I thought I'd have a go at making barrels for the engine: They will use left-over rockers from the WNW Gnome Lambda sprue and fit into a very simplified crankcase. Most of the engine is pretty hard to see on a Tabloid Richard Gazzas, themongoose, MikeMaben and 5 others
