Rick Griewski
OK fellow AFV fans, why would I want this? Maybe to enhance a display of a model? I am not feeling too creative at the moment. https://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/tortf1001.htm LSP_K2, scvrobeson and Out2gtcha
Out2gtcha
So...............what about 85-87 links per track, X2, so taking the smaller number of 85, thats about 170 links total, so 170 X $43 USD, you only need around $7,310 to make yourself a couple 1:1 Panzer tracks! scvrobeson, Neo and Rick Griewski 2
LSP_K2
While I'd love to have some real WWII German track links (I find them all the time on a FB group I belong to), I'm not so sure a model would be all that desirable. But still,... Out2gtcha
Rick Griewski
That would be 170 links to first assemble then link together. 20 minutes per link... I would finish up the task in an assisted living; special padded room. LOL LSP_Ron and Out2gtcha
LSP_Ron
Yeah, I don't really get it either too be honest. Modeling a lump of steel. It seems the equivalent of a car modeller doing a 1:1 scale model of a Corvette rim. Yes I do build AFV's too so it's not an airplane bias opinion. Ron Rick Griewski, chrish and D.B. LSP_K2
On the other hand, there a few German 88mm full scale projectile kits available, and I will most certainly snatch one of those. Rick Griewski
thierry laurent
Personally I consider this to be weird if not ridiculous as the price of a vintage one is not that far in Europe or in the US... However the situation is possibly different in Japan.
John1
I love it. This leads to John1 Enterprises next exciting product announcement - a 1:1 scale plastic water bottle. Identical to those seen scattered all over AFV's in Iraq and Afghanistan. A must have for any serious AFV enthusiasts display shelf. Comes in two exciting options - Full ($30 plus S&H) and Empty ($25 & S&H). If you want the empty bottle weathered and wrinkled (using a variety of proprietary methods), add $20. Operators are standing by to take your orders! Rick Griewski, rigor, thierry laurent and 2 others 1

LSP_K2
Actually, full size military replicas are not really all that new. Years and years ago, LS made some great 1:1 models of famous hand guns and grenades. mpk
firefly7
Kevin, PiG Models is the one making 1/1 shells. So far they have the Tiger 1 88mm., King Tiger 88mm, Russian 76mm ( t-34 ect.)and a 105mm howitzer round. I have the 88 & it is basic but verry nice. Andy's hobys carries them.
