Palm-tree
Betty, this project is coming alomg very nicely, lovely work on the front windscreen. Have you decided what colour scheme you will paint it as? Your model looks like it is well on track to be completed in time for the fortieth anniversary of the Falklands conflict next year. I would love to build a 1/32 Pucará and Sea Harrier but will wait till the kits appear some day. Keep up the excellent work, P-t Edited May 6, 2021 by Palm-tree Spelling blackbetty
blackbetty
i think i will go with A-532, it has a lot of nice features on the pic - no two planes are the same the loadout will be four rocket pods on two TERs and the c/l tank KiwiZac, HerculesPA_2, Starfighter and 2 others

blackbetty
for using the LAUs i will have to finish the wingpylons first. these are twopart (as seen at the beginning of the thread): the inner part is attached to the inner wing/fuselage part, the outer one the the outer wing. this gives a nice joint to glue there is a lot of work to get them smooth, since due to the 3D printing there are layers visible on the sides in front of both pylons are pretty prominent landing light behind a little windshield. i tought of vacforming it, but these are flush wiht the pyons, only a very narrow frame around them. so i first cut and filed the recesses and mounted two reflectors: LSP_Kevin, Starfighter and Greg W
blackbetty
next i made a template to cut some thin transparent sheet and wrapped it around the complete pylon, getting rid of all the layer marks on the way Greg W, patricksparks, dutik and 3 others
blackbetty
i had cut some vinyl earlier for the frame and that came in handy now. after paint the inside can be pulled off and voilá, a flush winshield patricksparks, Greg W, Starfighter and 1 other
