thierry laurent
The only logical conclusion is the fact there is one error somewhere. Either the kit number is erroneous, either the scale is incorrect, either the version is actually different from the announced one. LSP_Kevin
According to someone in the know on Facebook, it's a translation error with the English version of the site. The original Chinese version says 1/72 scale. Kev
Helmsman
No need to know Chinese. http://www.trumpeter-china.com/index.php?g=home&m=article&a=show&id=150 Bummer. LSP_Kevin
phasephantomphixer
Certainly a bummer but got me thinking (dreaming...) again what a Mega Model in 1/32 an SR-71 would be. Has it ever been done, like in Vac? Think it's shape would be great for Vac right? Darren Howie and Out2gtcha

Yep, IIRC, Combat did one, and maybe even Tigger. phasephantomphixer
Tony T
We're a month too early for dead-end teasers. The AMK 1/48 Foxhound boxbound with the metal set and tinted canopies is substantial enough — probably the only AMK kit I'll ever buy. Tony In fact, I am building that kit now, and it is at least equal to the Tamiya 1/48 Tomcat in fit and engineering, and better in terms of detail and quality/cost. It would be even more impressive in 1/32! Cheers, Tom Tony T and cib2265
Rob Colvin
if it were 32nd......that would be awesome. Big ole' mean cold war jet! I would be in for 1. Rob

LSP_Kevin
I'm just going to lock this topic down lest it confuses more people. Just to recap: the kit broached in the subject of this topic is in fact appearing in 1/72 scale, not 1/32. Time to put a brake on the rumour mill.
