I've searched but I've not been able to find a STANDING navy pilot suitable for a planned vignette with my 1/32 Trumpeter Wildcat on Wake Island, 1941. I'd even consider a later war pilot, if there is such a thing. Lots of "sitting in cockpit" options, but none simply standing.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if this will work but there's a standing US Navy pilot figure that is included in the F4U-1 kits (-1, -1A, and -1D).  https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51fKTZj6yoL._SX466_.jpg

I may have this figure assembled but don't plan on using it any longer.  If you'd like it, send me a PM and I'll send it to you.  Oh, and this will most likely get moved to the Trader's Forum since you're looking for something.

Valiant, Andreas Miniatures, and Wings Cockpit Figures do them, google images is your friend.

I used the Valiant figure with my Dauntless (after I saw that Sheperd Paine used the same figure in his diorama book).
