Peter Gregor
Hi after my first 1/32 aircraft F-16I SUFA 1/32 from Academy, it is time for another Israeli bird, this time it will be F-15I Raam converted from Tamiya kit. I have some addons from Isracast, Eduard, Avionix, Airscale and GT Resin, some Gt Resin parts are on the way... I will use Isradecal and Red Air Publications as source of information and photos. It will be my first WIP project so please keep fingers crossed, and I am looking forward to your feedback and suggestions. My last work is here: http://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=3155 Regards from Slovakia. Spaced Marine
Looks very nice. I've been dabbling with the idea of converting my F-15E into a Ra'am, but I have to finish my Barak conversion first! Peter Gregor
Joel_W
Peter, Just a great start to a rather complex build. So far the Pit really looks the part. Even in those close ups, every detail has been done precisely with meticulous detail painting. I'm pulling up my chair and will be following your build to its conclusion. Squizzy 78
Very nice work Peter. I've got the same kit and the same cockpit sitting in the stash, I only hope mine looks half as good as yours when done, very sharp work! Peter Gregor
Hi guys thanks for your positive comments. Little, however for me big progress after small pause. I mounted GT Resin intake into the fuselage, they are fit perfectly after small adjustment, as well as GT resin vents. I sanded canon vents from the behind and whole fuselage and both wings are rescribed and reriveted and the first surfacer layer has been sprayed. That was realy tedious job for me. I found some defect which I have to revise. Now, I am going to set up and adjust front of air induction system because Tamiya make them movable and there are some gaps on the both side as a result.
