  1. I just might need one. Pink Fr spitfires have always caught my eye.
  2. If I can’t find the French shark mouth option, the kits Spirit of 76 will my choice. I just tesllu love that dark dark blue gray & shark mouth!
  3. The title pretty much says it all. Since all the decals I can find are for E models, can my J kit be backdated? Thanks for the input.
  4. I’m going to be watching this one!
  5. That’s good to hear. It’s a daunting box of plastic when you first open it.
  6. I’m in! The kit is unstarted, and I don’t have any extra parts for it yet. I’ve loved this plane since I first laid eyes on it back in the mid-90’s with the Pro-Modeler release of the old Monogram kit. Since then I’ve built the 1/48 Tamiya kit, and I jumped on this beauty as soon as it became available. I’m going to enjoy this build!
  7. Oh the choices! I can do either a: Ho229 He219 Do335 B-25 Bf110E He111 F-15E F/A-18C Tornado Gr.1 (I think that’s all my 1/32 multi-engine kits) Which one to build, which one to build...
  8. What's available to convert the Hasegawa Dora 9 into an 11?
  9. Oh man I want one of those! Nice work.
  10. At do me point, I want to add a 1/32 A-1J to the collection. I've read through the forums and google searches on the ZM & Trumpeter kits. Both have pluses and minuses. In your experiences, which one do you prefer and why? Just trying to be thorough before laying out for such an expensive kit.
  11. Maybe it's just laziness on my part, but I don't trust myself cutting the lerx parts. I probably will in the end to do a silver bird, I've just got to get my confidence up. Either that or hunt down a silver or ADC gray bird that takes little surgery to make.
  12. How close is the kit to being able to build this one on the Furball top gun sheet? I see the notation for the big lerx and shark nose.
  13. The ‘groove' is on mine too, and looks like a molding issue. Fortunately it's very fine and a few swipes of the sanding stick should make it go away. I hope at least..,
