Dennis7423 Posted September 19, 2019 Author Share Posted September 19, 2019 Had a little hiccup with the second wing... when I applied the matte coat, it exposed a rather patchy coat of the AK Metals. I was able to work around the markings and most of the stencils, and only had to reapply a few of them. A second matte coat this morning was good to go! Landing gear was installed, and should be well beyond dry when I get home from work tonight. I'll apply the wash, apply the last 4 pieces, and she should be complete! Dennis7423 Posted September 20, 2019 Author Share Posted September 20, 2019 I worked on her a little bit this morning, and put her on her own legs for the first time. She sits beautifully! I figure I need about an hour or so to finish her off, which I sadly won't have until Monday (out of town for the weekend). However, Monday is the day! My Monday actually freed up more than it was anticipated, so I will definitely have time to finish her off, and take some classy photos.
