Guest Peterpools
Jim Sometimes the worst situations end up with great results. The gloss finish on the tails look tremendous Keep 'em coming Peter Edited July 13, 2017 by Peterpools

ClumsyDude
Thanks guys, it means a lot! @ Mark M - it is almost possible to see your face in it, I'll see if I can get a shot. I want to be able to see the horizontal tails reflected in the vertical tails, as you can see that effect on photos of the real thing - wish me luck! ClumsyDude
Mark - here you go - spent half the afternoon polishing on the other tail but it's not ready. Anyway, here's my face reflected in the first tail: Cheers Jim sandokan, Rainer Hoffmann, Starfighter and 7 others

Out2gtcha
Love it! This is the kind if polishing effort I will have to give on the paint on my Extra 300 SC when my replacement can-O-pee comes in. Well done!! ClumsyDude
Thanks so much everyone! I was lucky enough to have a few days at home with the family away up the coast, so will post some progress when I can. I'm just figuring out now how to get the paint on the main body, but first I'll have to do the main gear wells ... Love it! This is the kind if polishing effort I will have to give on the paint on my Extra 300 SC when my replacement can-O-pee comes in. Well done!! Thanks Brian. It's a very tedious process, but then I guess your 300 SC will have a lot less surface area to work through ... Well Jim I can't see my face reflection at my car gloss finish like that way Absolutely awesome, great work my friend Thanks Chavdar ... I have been meaning to take up your tip on car polish but haven't done so yet - been using the Tamiya wax which costs 100 times as much per litre ...
