Marcel111
Just finished this Trumpeter Growler, after 16 months of hard work. Big thanks to Harold from AMS for all the help casting things like the wingtip pods (which I reshaped) and providing the basis for and then casting copies of the ALQ-99s. Keith from Red Pegasus was also a huge help with the custom-made VAQ-132 decals. The build thread is over on ARC, but since I will probably be hanging out at LSP a lot more from now on I thought I'd show the finished article here. Apologies for the not-so-hot photography, I will take far better pics once it warms up outside a little. I'll post a few more pics in a minute... Marcel111
I spent quite a bit of time trying to recreate the weathering of this exact aircraft, including the light-gray overspray underneath the brown VAQ-132 insignia and some of the darker gray touch-up on the upper wing. allthumbs
Fantastic Marcel...any aircraft with a leading "E" in its designator grabs my attention, especially one so well built as yours! Congratulations, Rich Marcel111 and Harold

Marcel111
Thx guys! Kev, I would be honored if you publish some Growler pics on the website. Regarding the HUD, the frame is from Eduard, the HUD "glass" is made from an iridescent gift bow, something like this: http://image-api.octer.com/original/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.paperchase.eu%2Fmedia%2Fcatalog%2Fproduct%2F00480118.JPG We really need some decals for this ac in 1/32!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PM me if you are serious about the decals, I can put you in touch with Keith and he may print some for you. Cheers, Marcel Harold

Fins Up North
Great Growler. I'm wrapping up the 1/32 EA18 Trumpeter kit right now - and it won't look any where near as nice as this! Marcel111
