Erwin
Hi all, I will build and paint this one as a fantasy "Propaganda flugzeug". The build will be OoB. Most likely in a three-tone splinter sheme (colours undecided yet),with the pre-war tail flags to give it a mean Nazi-look. Erwin
First progress. I'm not using the bomb compartment.Doors are fixed from the inside with plastic card. It's a big model, but not that many parts. Edited January 22, 2016 by Erwin Zero77 and Uilleann

Uilleann
Nice! Love these what if builds. And with my favorite air frame to boot!
Erwin
More progress. I changed the fins from a two-piece into a single tail. I sanded the insides from both fins flat to join both fins to make one. The fin is glued and fixed with four small screws from the inside. I also added fine plastic card to the cockpit to ensure a better fit with the canopy. Edited January 29, 2016 by Erwin Uilleann

dodgem37
Nice conversion and engineering solution, Erwin. Looking forward to seeing this painted. You've got a creative idea going on here. Sincerely, Mark Uilleann
seiran01
Interesting ! I did not even know the existence of this kit. It's old and very basic, shapes are not great if you're concerned about total accuracy but if not, it looks the part close enough

Erwin
Thank you Jack. Still undecided about the fin marking.A nazi flag or just a swastika ?
Whitey
But you could see it coming from 10 miles away! Nice job.
Erwin
But you could see it coming from 10 miles away! Nice job. That's the whole idea. It's a propaganda plane. The nazi's wanted to show the world what they could do.Seeing this in 1946 would have been a shock to the allies. I suppose a big red flag will be more suitable for this.
