  1. The 32 sqn Spit is catching my eye!
  2. Thank you both, that helps a lot. I can see me doing a long span Spit!
  3. Does anybody know if any aftermarket decals are in the pipeline for this kit? I have just finshed my first one and unless the LFD mk XIV conversion apears soon I will have to build another mk VIII with may be extended wing tips!
  4. F 3 was called the mighty fin but the GR1 to 4 was always a Tonka. Having worked on them for many years the name came from them being built like tonka toys.
  5. Great pics. It looks like its 3d printed to me Lol.
  6. Far to many moving parts! Its just not right!
  7. Hi, when I worked on Tornados the seat didnt change from GR1 to GR4 althought at the end of my time on them we did trial a different harness on some aircraft. Not sure if that became standard.
  8. I was out there with 231 ocu ( Canberra training unit ) we were on the main base operating from the large main pan and single hanger. Passed through on detachments with Tonkas ( Tornado GR1 / 4 ) on our way to Ozz to fire off alarm missiles at Womerah.
  9. I was out there in the late 80s with 231 ocu I did see TR1 / U2 go and come back from somewhere. Was a kick to watch the car chase it down the runway and put the pogos in before it could taxi back.
  10. Small flat fish!!.......... Brill.!
  11. Thanks once again Patrick, very useful stuff there. Still having doubts about the rad. lol. On one of the above pics I think I can see a filter of some kind behind the door. Will keep looking for info untill I need to fit the thing. Once again thanks.
  12. Hi Patrick Thanks for the pics. think you are right , I will just have to follow the instructions. The pic of the later rocket rails, do you know if they are armour piercing heads?
