dodgem37 Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Great show, Oliver. Does the difference of wheel chock color have meaning? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark

shark64 Posted June 22, 2018 Author Posted June 22, 2018 Great show, Oliver. Does the difference of wheel chock color have meaning? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark Mark. Good question. On my research photos they use both colors..im sure there is a reason for it. patricksparks 1
Zactoman Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 No, I mean the actual MV lenses themselves turn yellow. MV is now using UV resistant epoxy for their lenses that is not supposed to yellow over time. They started this at least a year ago. LSP_Kevin 1
Guest Peterpools Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 (edited) Zachman Thank you for the information - great to know. Are the packages/lenses marked as UV resistent so we know if the lenses are the newer ones? Peter Edited June 24, 2018 by Peterpools

DonH Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 I have a question about the dials on the equipment sticking up out of the deck. Do you put any gloss on the dial faces to simulate glass? In the picture, they look matt and I think it looks very good. Is this a trick of the light or do you deliberately make your dial faces matt?

Hi I did not gloss the dials on the dials from the open hatches, i usually do but i wanted those to be flat. I usually clear resin all my dials, i believe it pops better than your regular glossy finish. Look at the 2 dials next to the red tank few photos above, those two dials have clear resin on them. Better photo. Edited June 25, 2018 by shark64 chukw, DonH, LSP_Paul and 2 others 5
LSP_Paul Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Great attention to detail. I think the variation in lens finish makes the whole scene look more realistic.. Keep up the great work Oliver! Paul
