    Dryfitted wing with closed gun pannels.
    Not much work.
    Just the LG-bay and upper wings.

    Some progress.
    Fuselage done with extra plastic for a better bond.
    The cockpit can be added afterwards.(here dryfitted)
    No engine.All panels will be closed.

    Thanks for all the great suggestions folks.
     
    I think I've managed to surmount this challenge. I did some thinking outside of the box (see what I did there) and visited my local Post Office.. who were able to supply massive padded 'jiffy' bags - large enough even for the Eduard P40 in its fancy dan box!
     
    So, hopefully my traded models will be winging their way across Blighty this week.

    You can also give the plane to your grandson and he will make it fly ... 
    It worked with my daughters too many times... 
    Joke aside, it is nice that you sorted out the canopy issue and that you started this build.

    Ive been buying these. they fit hasegawa 1/32 kits and more in them.
     
    Usually i get used boxes whenever i see them. tesco lady was please to let me have some yesterday!
