Shoggz
As a couple of my fellow LPSers are taking a kit off me, I've gone onto Amazon to buy some LSP sized boxes, which I'd assumed would be easy.. Not so, it would seem.. Where do other UK based folk get their postal boxes from? The likes of Jadlam and co obviously get them from somewhere! I may be forced to buy further kits to recycle their boxes!
Rick Griewski
I save the boxes from Amazon purchases. Not much help for you right now though Shoggz
Vulcan
I've found flat pack sets of cardboard boxes from Argos work well as you can cut them to size & they work out quite good value Shoggz

Confusionreigns178
Hi, Shoggz. Ask your local MacDonalds if you can have some of the boxes their french-fries are delivered in (my brother does this often). They should be free. They are not the sturdiest boxes you'll ever encounter, but - once packed out with old newspapers or similar - they should do a decent job of protecting a kit. Cheers. Chris. PS: I have a personal interest in this one - Shoggz is posting a kit to me... LSP_K2 and Shoggz
Christa
Flat save viable packaging then adapt that resource with scalpel and tape as required. Main thing is to protect the kit box with a robust, snug outer layer. Kagemusha and Shoggz

LSP_K2
I was just at the local Costco yesterday, and they were throwing out a huge batch of empty boxes. Actually they recycle them, but will usually just give you some if you ask. Shoggz
Shoggz
Thanks for all the great suggestions folks. I think I've managed to surmount this challenge. I did some thinking outside of the box (see what I did there) and visited my local Post Office.. who were able to supply massive padded 'jiffy' bags - large enough even for the Eduard P40 in its fancy dan box! So, hopefully my traded models will be winging their way across Blighty this week. gunpowder
