thierry laurent got a reaction from Learstang in Biggest quantity of one particular kit in the stash?
Actually I never made a full inventory of all the kits I have purchased for the last 40 years. I think I would be really afraid if I got the full picture...

thierry laurent got a reaction from scvrobeson in spoke to Airfix yesterday..
Not that sure the Beaufighter is too big for them as they released the Mosquito. However, was the Mossie a good seller? That may be the most important point to go on releasing 1/24 twin engine planes.

I fully agree about panel lines. However, mobile surfaces are clearly visible as separate parts.

thierry laurent got a reaction from CRAZY IVAN5 in Review: KEP Models 1/32 Yak-6
Hopefully when large 3d printed parts are broken in two parts the break is generally "clean". This means that with some extra thin CA glue the repair is often invisible without need for putty and sanding. However, we are not always that lucky! I just got a badly packaged 3d printed resin part that has exploded in more than a dozen of tiny pieces ...

If only we could get a very similar RAF Avro Anson of the same quality...

Way too many to rattle off, but I guess #1 on the list would be the SR-71.
Cheers,

Resistance is futile...
At least this is how I'm trying to justify how I can be weak...

I do the same thing with my kits and then with my decals I try to put them in an appropriately sized zip-lock bag which then goes into a clear 3 ring binder sleeve and finally into the 3 ring binder. My photo-etch is done the same way. I think I might be a little "anal"...which is short for anal-retentive .
Take Care,
Jim
