kensar
I like to see things starting to come together. Lets one know there's a completion not far away. The details on the fuse really adds eye appeal. And wow! - that's blue! RLWP
RLWP
And wow! - that's blue! Ford Monza blue, according to the rattle can I thought the lid of the can was a bit too light, not sure now - it's growing on me Richard
mattlow
It's a nice blue, but looks too light compared to the actual a/c on P.1.. even with a bit of scale effect... Matt

Once it is in my display case I will destroy all my printed pictures. So no one can compare... Richarf KiwiZac and mattlow

RLWP
Couldn't put it off any longer, the engine is in: Still don't know if I need to straighten those fins out.. Jimbo, excellent and generous member of this forum, let me have the Gypsy six engine from his Encore Blue Max Pfalz. Clearly the Gypsy six is a much bigger engine In other news, Bob von Buckle's trusty carrier pigeon dropped off some eyelets and tubes today, so I'm all set up for rigging Richard patricksparks, LSP_Kevin, Shawn M and 2 others
Shawn M
no idea on accuracy, but I like the visual interest of the bent fins RLWP

RLWP
Incredible build! I really love those old kites! Old?!? This is from 1925, I usually model aeroplanes pre 1918, and prefer the 1914-16 stuff. This one is practically state of the art!
