dutik
So the nose is not 2mm too wide, but good fitting? Regards - dutik
Joel_W
Jorge, The nose clip fits like a glove. I'm sure it wasn't the perfect fit, but required quite a lot of massaging the nose clip to look that good. Joel
oppenheimer
after reducing the sides with sand paper i got perfect fit, and i opened a little the bottom of the fuselage to reduce the difference in wide of both pieces and still got enough space for the wing to fit. oppenheimer
meanwhile while i let the airplane rest till is dry, i foud that i need modern look tires, and for the mustang you will find only WW2 era tires, so i bought a pair from Baracuda resin and filled all the lines i dont need on the tires and this is the result, not bad Edited July 18, 2017 by oppenheimer Martinnfb, Paul in Napier, sandokan and 1 other

Joel_W
Jorge, I've got to hand it to you for the tire modification. I'd never think of anything like that, and the end result is perfect. Your NMF is really looking good. I'm also suprised at the procedure you're using. Nearly everyone including me does a basic coat of one of the Alcad 2 Aluminums, then masks and does the panels, but you've gone a completely different route, and it really works fantastically. I just might very well use if for my next (when ever that is) NMF aircraft build. Joel sandokan and Out2gtcha
