norbert
Hi Found a bit of time to work on a couple of my own figures. And maybe it's time to train on figures ... cheers Norbert Edited May 11, 2018 by norbert LSP_K2, Jeff, Tinbanger and 8 others
ClumsyDude
Um, that is INCREDIBLE. I don't think I've ever seen a figure that good. Is it possible to do a step by step tutorial? Jim Jeff

Gazzas
Holy Moley! That's way too good. The only give-away is the sheen on the hair. I'm stunned!
norbert
Many thanks for your kind words. Figure is in progress, you see it by the blue flotation bags under arms. Hairs need more work, and the supply of better quality paints. I tried a very easy way to paint the figure's face, will try to show how to do it. norbert
Hi Started the second russian pilot. I'm afraid I let a bit too much red on the face, have to work this out. I wanted it easy but I see it still need balancing between not enough ant too much. First pilot still not done... The Madhatter
The detail on these is incredible. Who created these? You or someone else? The facial features look so real that you'd almost think they were actual faces photo-shopped onto the pics. Absolutely stunning Tnarg
Tnarg
I actually thought for a minute that you had posed a friend on top of a giant plastic "thing" that looked like a bottle cap. Wonderful detail. Tnarg
Martinnfb
That first one looks so much like Anatoly Kvochur, incredible resemblance . They are both super natural and realistic, not a super-hero style, but average guys. Very Cool! Cheers Martin
norbert
Hi Some progress an the second russian pilot. removed the excess of red on his face, started the orange of the flight suit. norbert
Hi added brown madder (brun de garance) in the folds in order to give more depth. This is oil paint, that will take time to dry. I use high quality paints from Winsor and Newton, rich in pigments With a dry brush, that I cleaned with a paper towel every few seconds, cleaned the excess of brown madder, so it remains only in the depth in traces. Will let all that dry one day minimum before to enlight surfaces turned to the top. looking at the pictures, I will work a bit more the brown madder before it dries too much cheers Norbert Edited May 11, 2018 by norbert
norbert
Hi I see that my solution for the picture does not hold in time, so i try another one... Started (on the right side) the third russian pilot : sprues removed, and sprayed a thin layer of dilluted surfacer cheers Norbert Uncarina and Gazzas
