ChrisK89
Unfortunately the Bf 109 G-10 was my only completed model in 2016 but i think it's not bad. It's the Trumpeter kit with some scratchbuilding and changings to made it look more like the real aircraft. A friend of mine was so nice to take some pictures of the Bf 109 G-4 displayed in Technikmuseum Speyer so i had a pretty good look on the real one from many angles etc. As we all know the Trumpeter kit is not perfect but acceptable in my eyes. It is built pretty much OOB except of a pair of Eduard Resin wheels and some scavanged parts from other PE frets i had laying around like the seatbelts. The Trumpeter kit itself is covered in recessed rivets but they left some rivet lines untouched so i added them and changed the rivets to "screws" with a beading tool where necessary additionally i added the piano hinges on the engine panels. After reading the awesome Revell Bf109 reviews from mikester at largescalemodellers i realised i made some pretty grave mistakes just following the Trumpeter instructions.. but yeah.. no chance in changing that now. So please don't mind the wrong decals and MW50 and fueltank filler points etc. Still.. i hope you like it. cheers Chris Edited January 16, 2017 by ChrisK89 HL-10, alain11, BradG and 9 others

dodgem37
'So please don't mind the wrong decals and MW50 and fueltank filler points etc.' Easy to fix any ol' time. Chris, seems like ages. Nice scheme. Nicely rendered. Good contrast with the primed hatch. Sincerely, Mark mpk
