Out2gtcha
Well, I'm afraid I didn't get G-ELBV over the line before the end of the group build. She makes a respectable back-of-the-hanger diorama I'll park her for a bit and finish her another time Richard Smashing Richard! I have to say, we can easily move the build from the GB section to the WIP section if you like. Would be a shame to come this far only to stop because of an arbitrary deadline. Jim Barry
I'm late too. (I do not read the GB threads, my fault). Being a scratch builder I certainly cheer you on and see a lot of talent here for sure! I love the subject!

RLWP
Just over a year - could be worse! I have managed to get the damn nose sorted at last: It isn't 100%, it will do. This has been the major sticking point on this model for ages Richard Gazzas, Vandy 1 VX 4, Shawn M and 7 others

kensar
I'm glad to see you back on this, Richard. That is a complicated nose section.
RLWP
1 hour ago, kensar said: I'm glad to see you back on this, Richard. That is a complicated nose section. It was a complete pain in the posterior, Ken. The way forward was to scrap the engine cowls I had already made, take a couple of the nose bits I had vacuum moulded, cut them in half then just go for it! There's quite a lot to be said for leaving a model and coming back to it, I have forgotten all the obsessive details I was thought I had to get right. So I'm free to just get on with it again Richard Anthony in NZ, Alain Gadbois, mozart and 1 other
