CANicoll
From Instagram but I thought I'd post for anyone interested in the underside of an operational A-10 and just how dirty this particular aircraft really is. Kinda cool, actually. Chris Kagemusha, Troy Molitor and Gazzas

Gazzas
I'm trying to imagine what would make the entire center section so dirty. Muzzle blast from the gatling gun? I've got no problem with dirt. But I would like to be able to reason out it's existence.
Gazzas
Martin, Cool picture. I guess the pilot of the other plane in the mall parking lot didn't look behind himself as he was backing up. Gaz

Gazzas
I wonder how many of those dents were caused by another jet taxiing past...

Out2gtcha
Wow, now that is grungy! Personally I really fancy the early 80s Alaska exercise snow scheme, and a lot of the "JAWS" (Joint All-Weather Attack System) schemes for the A-10. I particularly like the WWII Italian looking scheme
Scotsman
There's a wonderful Scottish word that sums that look up perfectly, "Right Manky"... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Manky Enjoy...! Out2gtcha
A-10LOADER
bodywork (operation Iraqi freedom) This photo was taken at Ahmed Al Jabber AB, Kuwait during OIF. I was there with the 111th FW. Steve
A-10LOADER
Pretty This jet, 82-0647, was one of our former jets at Willow Grove, PA. (111th FW). Sadly, she was never this beat up when we flew her. Steve Out2gtcha
