well after some more masking i repaired the overspray and finally, after removing the masking tape, it pulled parts off, including the primer

this with using a low-stick masking tape that you litterally have to hold on with your finger to get it to adhere to the model

assumably it does stick in some places  

the plastic of this revell kit gave me problems all the way. ven after sanding it entirely, is still had a - for the lack of a better term - oily surface.

the car primer i normally use and have had success with just didnt stick, no matter what i did

so mr. surfacer to the rescue....

thats what i always do, turn around and walk away (the damage was done a few days ago - it takes a while to cool off)

after some more repairs (still not finished) with landinggear. the gear came with the Cam Kfir conversion
