Tolga ULGUR
One more tick to my bucketlist. This is 1/32 Trumpeter P-47D-1 with the markings of “In the Mood” flown by Captain Gerald W Johnson from 61st Fighter Squadron 56th Fighter Group based in Halesworth England during late 1943. Cockpit modified by Yahu instrument panel and Eduard seatbelts. Additionnaly Trumpeter’s late style rudder pedals replaced with MDC early ones which are from spare parts box. For backdating to D-1, the cowling flaps changed by using plastic card. I have used Eduard’s Wheel set. Belly tank is from my Tamiya spare parts. Paints are Gunze Sangyo and Tamiya acrylics. Decals are from Zotz Decal set. Happy modelling MikeMaben, scvrobeson, Gazzas and 29 others 31

Greif8
Really well done Jug Tolga. You did an excellent job painting and weathering the aircraft, it replicates the actual one quite well. Ernest Tolga ULGUR

I have other razorback projects that I plan to build. If also you're happy with the result, I plan to build them with Trumpeter's kit. Looks like there won't be another option at this scale in the near future JayW
