Zola25 Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 So, my copy of the Cocardes magazine arrived and I have had a chance to read through it - What a wonderful set of builds you have made Rom. The magazine is just incredible value for money - infact, it is so good that I would consider this issue a must-read reference if your are going to build the Kitty Hawk Mirage 2000 kits All captions are in english for those who might be concerned about their french Highly recommended! /Niels ROM and Martinnfb 2
ROM Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 tahnk you very much for your feedback Niels! very appreciated. Martinnfb 1
Phartycr0c Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 thats one beautifully dirty Mirage. Superb work, so inspirational, ill have to start mine now! ROM and Martinnfb 2
scvrobeson Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Just utterly stunning builds. They look ready to take off for another mission. What sort of paints did you use for the camo? Those Mirage colors always seem to be a bit of a challenge to match, but you've done it perfectly. Matt Martinnfb and ROM 2
GreyGhost Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 Fantastic builds ..! -Gregg ROM and Martinnfb 2
thierry laurent Posted October 26, 2022 Posted October 26, 2022 I just got the magazine. Highly recommended even if you do not read French. 120 pages dedicated to the 2000 with walkaround pictures, scale plans of both versions, tons of pictures of the assembly and detailing of the kits, scheme colors, etc. All that stuff for 11€ in France! Martinnfb and ROM 2

Thank you very much for your kind words. 2000-5 is painted with AKRC 235 and 252, but with a drop of X14 sky blue in each. 2000D green is a mix of H65 H420 and H2, grey blue is H42+H331+H2. Cheers Martinnfb and scvrobeson 2
