Welcome to the Cold War Jets Group Build!

This Group Build will run from 1 March 2020 to 31 August 2020.

Normal LSP eligibility rules apply: the subject must be an LSP jet (1/35 scale or larger), and no more than 25% complete at the time of entry.

Here are the GB-specific criteria:

Build a jet aircraft from one of the countries listed as a member of the organisations below during their relevant stay in that pact.

NATO and Warsaw pact. Note the dates at which countries joined.

SEATO. September 1954 - June 1977 (member states only)

I have a Thunderjet but already have Portuguese markings for it.

Unsure I could build a second model. I have been weathering 2 Japanese aircraft for two months as it is! :D

Take care as some of these members were actually part of the Warpac during the cold War...! So they only apply with communist era markings, not the current NATO ones.
