KitmodellerNZ Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) Hi guys, I am proud to present my recently completed 1/32 A-4K Skyhawk. I used the Trumpeter A-4F as the base for my build. Added a Wolfpack resin cockpit and used the Eduard exterior photoetch set. Airbrushed with custom mixes of Tamiya acrylics. Decals are from my own KMNZ Decals custom range (available for purchase worldwide via KMNZdecals@gmail.com). Edited July 30, 2018 by KitmodellerNZ LSP_Kevin, scvrobeson, Devo and 31 others 34

otis252 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Excellent build indeed. Never seen one done in 32nd scale. One question, were the leading edge slatsa fixed to stay up on the NZ Scooters? Thanks. Chuck KitmodellerNZ 1

I decided to model them in the up position for some reason. Next build will have them extended.
otis252 Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Got it. No biggie, just wondered. Great build. Thanks. Chuck KitmodellerNZ 1

Hi Callum, I just used the A-4F panel that came with the Wolfpack kit. I hope to build my next one with one of Anthony's Kahu cockpits. There are a few cockpit pics on my WIP thread on kiwimodeller.com http://kiwimodeller.com/index.php/forum/38-follow-as-i-build/32422-trumpeter-1-32-a-4f-skyhawk-as-an-rnzaf-a-4k?start=30
Anthony in NZ Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Super inspiring mate!!! There is nothing not to love about your build. I will be contacting you about your paint mixes when my cockpit upgrade gets into production and I can finish mine.....totally awesome mate! Cheers Anthony KitmodellerNZ 1
