I am serious, I have one of these in my stash:

...and I have been gathering intel from various posts on this website as to which NMF method to use when I build my 1/48 Monogram B-17G and B-29 kits.

This, or the F-86D boxing.  Both nice kits with lots of NMF options, and better detail than the Kinetic or old Hasegawa Sabres, although obviously a different variant.

Ahh yes, but wouldn't one of these look great in your collection..?

Yes, what a beauty. I’d snap that up in a NMF...

Has anyone suggested the P-38? If not . . .

How about a P-38? The vast majority of P-38L models were NMF and the Trumpy kit, with a little work is not too bad.

I should have one here tomorrow,... I hope.

Thanks again,

I’ll have a look at those. I’m surprised there isn’t a Tamiya quality Sabre F out there. As you say, all time classic surely? The Mustang of the 50’s.
