LSP_Kevin Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 In real life would you ever find a mossie with bare ply..dope and fabric removed? As far as I understand it, that's true. But it certainly makes for an interesting modelling exercise! Kev mark31 1
Chek Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 In real life would you ever find a mossie with bare ply..dope and fabric removed? Not 100% sure, but believe I've read that the wooden structure was coated with doped cloth. Having said that, I still believe it's a valid way to depict a model. mark31 1
Gazzas Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I really, really like it! Can't wait to see it with nacelles and spinners on. Gonna be tops! Gaz mark31 1
Ohm-men Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Having seen this model in real life a few weeks ago, I can only say it looks even better then on the pics... Mark is a trully talented modeler and makes it all look so easy! I'm sure this model will be of great intrest at the convention held in december. mark31 1

ClumsyDude Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Wow Mark that looks really super! The textures look great - the wood looks like wood and the metal like metal, great stuff. Jim mark31 1

Joel_W Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Mark, the bottom of the wings with the combination of wood and aluminum coupled with the engine install is simply amazing. Truly high tech modeling to say the least. Joel
