My modeling while insane "In progress" report. :)

Dam Dale, Hope all is ok. Let us know.....Harv

Just returned from hospital.

It would take many hours of waiting around to get the full list of tests today. So I simply had them test my blood pressure which was about 40 below where it should be.

They wanted to keep me there on a fluid drip but I left to come home and just drink loads of water. Can't face being stuck in Casualty/ER for that long and it is dangerous to me because I must be kept in isolation. My immune system is virtually non existent. I am hoping to use my new Mr. Surfacer 500 to correct troublesome areas on George and Tojo. The Raiden looks ok, as does the 109 F4.

Hope for the best, expect the worst and deal with whatever happens. :)

Cheers Harv, Martin etc. :)

It is what it is.

Thanks guys.

First the hospital.

I just heard this: "Well chemo does not damage the brain. However the chemo you were on does."

I mean seriously.

My bloods are good. This does not explain the falling and lack of ability to use the brain properly. Modeling is definitely helping with my hand eye coordination. Although I screwed up the Raiden cowling yesterday. It looks chin up.

It's only a thing.

My cancer professor is unsure of anything. "Let's look to the future. And we can all die any day."

Yeah, kind of know that.

I am going to see a neuro specialist and have my brain function checked.

I also found out the exact number of chemo treatments. 256.

On the modeling front the Tojo is ready to be sprayed.

There is Blue on the 109 and George may be ready to paint soon.

I compared the Alclad with the Mr. Hobby super metals.

Here's my assessment. FWLIW.

They are both good. The Alclad may be thinner but does not go as far. Mr. Hobby is better value for money in my country and is easier to work with. Alclad seems very delicate.

I've discovered Lifecolor is not so good in high humidity. It clogs everything.

Oh and yesterday I broke the tip of my Iwata and must replace it. Tightened it too much with pressure from numb hands.

I am using the Sparmax, which to be perfectly honest is just as good as the Iwata. My Talon is acting as back up.

Hope to have semi decent pic's later.

One thing is apparent. Focusing only on cockpits won't help complete the things! :D

I am actually settling on certain aspects of the 109. I am not in possession of perfect modeling skills. I just want to complete something. Anything! :D

Thanks guys.

My friend, thanks for the up date ! Just keep on keeping on. Oh, and how many treatments did you have ?............Harv

Treatments today?

No treatments. Just tests. Thus far things look okay but I need to see a neurologist. Cancer doctors are not educated in this area. And visa versa.

Ya....good update. That's all we need. I'll be waiting for your picts, buddy!

You're waiting on my pic's?

Mate, get a hobby. ;)

I have a few in exactly that same stage, Dale!

Yeah but then they become museum pieces.

Mate I've seen you play. ;)

I know good technique when I see it. :)

I cannot fathom keeping THAT many different planes straight all at the same time.  That alone is an amazing feat.  And they look terrific!  I'm in a lull at the moment but am living vicariously through you and the folks here for now.

Keep up the good work!  Chris
